" Zotty " 1951 - 1978
Zotty ist einer der bekannteste Teddybären der Firma Steiff.
Zotty is the most well-known teddy of the Steiff company.
Die Zotty-Farben weiss, rotbraun und caramel. Die rotbraune Variante
des Mohairplüschs wurde zu verschiedenen Zeiten bei Engpässen mit
der caramelfarbenen Ausführung vermehrt produziert.
The Zotty colors white, caramel and reddish brown. The reddish brown
mohair was used in case the usual caramel plush was not available, but
this was not mentioned in the catalogues.
Der kleinste Zotty 6317,1 wurde erst 1952 eingeführt. Das braun bedruckte
Schild mit dem eckigen Bärenkopf und die US-Zonenfahne verraten dem Sammler,
dass es sich hier um eines der ersten Exemplare des 6317,1 überhaupt handelt.
The smallest Zotty 6317,1 was introduced in 1952. The brown letters on the
chest tag show that this is one of the first bears from this series.
Das Gleiche gilt auch für die zweite Größe, den Zotty 6322,1. In
gutem Zustand und mit allen Warenzeichen sind sie schwer zu bekommen.
